Happy Fourth of July guys!! We started our day with breakfast at Cracker Barrel which was so yummy! Then we went to Fleet Farm to look around and found some more fireworks and a new swing set. We came home to drop Daddy off and then went to the AmericInn to swim and go on the water slide. You guys had so much fun and I even went down the slide too. Aidan was practicing treading water and then we had the great idea to go to the Y to see if Aidan could pass the pink swim test. Aidan, you were so excited and did great! You had to jump in and tread water for 30 seconds, then go right into a front float for 10 seconds, and back to treading for another 10 seconds without touching. We were all so shocked that you did it and then were glad that you could practice swimming on your own.
We headed home to play outside and Daddy went back to Fleet Farm to get the swing set. By the late afternoon we had a swing set and you guys were very excited to try it out. We spent our evening lighting some of our own fireworks and then went to Jani and Bob's for the rest of the night. We stayed up super late and watched the Mystic Lake fireworks from the road.
What a fun day...
