
Well, I wish I could post that I did great over the holidays and maintained my weight loss but I didn't. I had good days and bad ones. I worked out some but not at all what I had planned. But I'm not giving up so here I go again!
I had to quit the Y because I will no longer get the health reimbursement so I switched to LA Fitness and got a really good deal and only got a single membership. There is one by my work so I can go before and after and don't have to worry about getting the 12 times in each month. With this membership you get a free training session to lure you into buying more. I decided to give it a try and wow what a butt kicker that was! I decided to use some of my Christmas money to buy a few more sessions and am excited and scared for that! I had a fitness test/training session which was hard but I was happy with some of the results like doing a wall sit for 105 seconds (not sure what a good number is but at least I didn't wimp out at 15 seconds) and leg pressing 310 lbs. Sergio was impressed! I start tomorrow with another session bright and early at 6:00. The plan is to strength train for 30 minutes with the trainer and then 30 minutes of cardio to follow.
Here's to the new year and make life changes not just trying a new diet or a new elaborate plan I've come up with but never follow through on. Eat right, exercise, lots of sleep, and to cut back on Diet Coke. That's my simple plan!
